Rest weeks: err on the side of caution
Training is a process of challenging our bodies, and then allowing them to recover. Two of the key training principles in this process at Sans Chaine are repeatability and consistency. That means that you are hopefully never really digging yourself into a deep hole of fatigue. Better to continue your training consistently over the complete season, or even years, rather than suffering burn out and having to pull the plug to rest for a while.
